A SINGULAR FOCUS: PREVENTION
Our dear founder and inspiration, Dr. Moses (Misha) Grossman, passed away in January. We are deeply saddened to lose this gentle, intelligent, caring and very special man. Misha leaves behind a legacy that will continue to grow; educators, health professionals, law enforcement members, faith community …all adults who strive for a safer community for children.
To continue this legacy, Partners In Prevention dedicates this April’s Blue Ribbon campaign to the work and life’s passion of Dr. Grossman and to this end we are uniting under the message of SPEAK OUT, LISTEN, EDUCATE. Speak out as a child and Speak out as an adult. There’s a role for all of us.
SPEAK OUT! POSTERS: In response to SB1178 | Participating counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma.
As a Partner In Prevention we hope you will join us this April in recognizing Child Abuse Prevention Month. Your personal motivation might be your own child, your neighbors, students …all children. Today’s headlines remind us that child abuse is happening. Now. Here. Anywhere. Everywhere.
In societal institutions where we could never have suspected or imagined; Olympic sports, prestigious public and private schools, religious institutions, legislative bodies, social media outlets. It can all seem so overwhelming, challenging, that we ask ourselves “How can just one person, me, make a difference?”
This is what we do every day at PIP.
Our singular focus is prevention.

All Advisory Board members and administrators of Partners in Prevention serve in a volunteer capacity. We do not have paid positions. Our offices and related expenses are fully hosted to us. This means that 100% of every donation goes toward our mission: Increase awareness of child abuse, spread knowledge of it’s life-long effects and help promote solutions. We design, develop, produce and distribute public awareness materials at no cost to qualifying youth-serving organizations, public and private schools and public agencies throughout a diverse range of communities.
